I am pleased to introduce myself and thank you for your inquiry.

I have always believed in the benefits of massage. The women of my family handed down mothering information since time began and massage was of the utmost importance for bonding and nurturing. I massage my children and they in their turn massage their children.

I am passionate about introducing as many parents and caregivers as possible to Newborn Massage, “Baby’s First Massage® ” method by Teresa Ramsey. I truly believe the strong bond of child to caregiver creates health, security and well being for the child that will last throughout the baby’s life. I educate moms when ever possible to talk to and nurture their child in the womb. Newborn Massage, with gentle touch and respect is a natural link in continuing a loving relationship. It is so much more than massage.

I am introducing “Baby’s First Massage® ” to Hospitals, the Medical Community, and Children’s Care Centers throughout the St. Louis and surroundings areas. I do travel to those institutions wishing to introduce “Baby’s First Massage® ” to their staff or community.

My expertise in massage came as a second career, after leaving the corporate world. I am now a professional massage therapist, graduated from The Healing Arts Center, St. Louis, MO. Since then I have had extensive education and training, receiving certifications in the art of massage. (Deep Tissue, Reflexology, Swedish, Hot Stone Massage, Advanced Myofascial Release, TFH applied Kinesiology, Lymph Massage and more) As the path opened, it guided me to specialize in Pre and Post Natal Massage. The door was opened and of course I had to be the best for my moms, which led me to Certification training in Pregnancy Massage by Carole Osborne-Sheets, Doula Training by the Barnes Jewish Hospital, Dance to Birth, Cranial Sacral Obstetrics, Pediatrics and Lymphatic Drainage with the Upledger Institute, Infant Massage USA, “Baby’s First Massage® ” by Teresa Ramsey, of course Happiest Baby on the Block could not be ignored.

In my quest to educate and spread the word, I belong to Friends of Missouri Midwives, PeaTot, International Doula Association, ICAN, Healing Touch of St. Louis, Touch for Health (applied Kinesiology), American Massage Therapy Association, Ewomen Networking and more.
